Chloe Had a Ralph Lauren Audition.

Chloe was called in for a Ralph Lauren Audition for December 17th. She got dressed up in her pink polo cardigan and navy blue polo leggins and was ready for her picture to be taken. We got brought to a back room and this nice lady took a bunch of pictures of chloe while she got to play with stuffed animals. Its for a new polo ad so we will see if she gets called back. she looked pretty darn cute while they were taking her pictures. fingers crossed she gets picked..Then daddy took chloe to FAO Shwarz  to go see all the toys..they had lots of fun in the city. hoping to come back later this week to see the tree and get dinner. if the weather is nice..

Chloe's first 1st Birthday Party with her Friends

Chloe had her first 1st birthday party on Sunday, December 16th. She invited all her friends over for brunch. We had pancakes and quiche and cranberry-cream cheese stuffed french toast and a yummy giant white cupcake cake and little mini ones covered in white whipped cream. Chloe had so much fun. She got to play and hang out and it was like a little mini daycare at our house.. This was the first time that chloe had any deserts besides fruit and she LOVED the white cake with whipped cream. Mommy didn't want to use real frosting for chloe's first time so that she didn't have too much sugar.. She has her party with her mommies side of the family on saturday the 22nd and then she gets to celebrate her actual birthday with the Harrington Clan. The she gets her last celebration with grandma bailey and family on the 26th. Lots of celebrating for Little Chloe. Cant believe she is going to be 1 year old. Lots to be thankful and grateful for this year.. Let the parties begin....

My Christmas Card Photo Shoot

So mommy really wanted a great picture for chloe's christmas card this year. She did lots of photo shoots in the morning before work because the light was better. She tried to lay down a nice white blanket for chloe to pose on but it has gotten a lot harder to take pictures now that chloe is much more mobile. We had lots of fun and put on different outfits and in the end we ended up using a lot of the pictures for the christmas card. It has been sent out to all of chloe's family and friends so they can have a copy too.. Merry Almost Christmas everyone..

Going to See Santa Claus

Chloe went to see Santa Claus for the first time on December 9th.. We went to the Burr House in Fairfield..There was arts and crafts, and a raffle and Mrs Claus making cookies in the kitchen. There was also a room were they had music and singing. Chloe just had so much fun. It was a really long line to wait for santa so mommy and daddy took turns taking chloe around to all the stuff going on.. It was cutting into nap time but Chloe did great. When it was time to go in to see santa she was pretty un-phased by the whole thing. She kind of game him a look like who is the man and why am I on his lap but she never cried and even gave us a little smile and then by the time she would have registered what was going on we were gone and on the way home.. We can't wait to see how she will be next year..Our little christmas baby..

Cutting Down the Christmas Tree

We recently went to Maple Tree Farm to cut down our christmas tree. It was a cold day and grey day but we made the best of it.. We bundled up little chloe and put a santa hat on her head and off we went through the hills to find the perfect tree. We had to make sure we found one that was tall and thin to fit into a specific space in our house, especially since we needed it tucked away so miss chloe wouldn't be able to grab the tree. After walking for a little while we found the perfect tree. Chloe approved even though she wanted a little tree for herself too. We got it home and put the lights on and then had fun decorating the tree as a family.. It looks perfect in our house and now we have the perfect winter ONE-derland house for christmas and chloe's birthday..
