Chloe at Jacobs 1st Birthday Party

Chloe got invited to her friend Jacobs 1st birthday party this past weekend. It was an animal theme and chloe had so much fun. There was a lady that came with a bunch of animal critters that she was able to take out of their little homes for the kids to pet. Chloe got to pet a ginnea pig, a hedgehog, a bunny rabbit, a lizard and a snake. She had no fear and just went right up to them to touch and feel them. when it came to see the lizard she pretty much tried to grab his head off. she loved all the animals and had no fear.. All the other babies sat nicely with their parents but not chloe. She had to crawl and get into everything and be upfront with all the animals.. We have one special little girl..

Chloe is 10 months old

So chloe is 10 months old. There haven't been that many changes to what she can do since last month but there have been some funny updates. She has these baskets that we have all her toys in against the wall and she loves to pull all her toys out and then climb inside and sit and play in them. She will get in and out of them or just sit and play. She is really good at saying hi and goodbye too. She will wave at you and say hi or wave goodbye when you leave. Its so cute. She also loves to pull things out of drawers or baskets. When mommy is getting ready in the morning we open the bottom dresser draw and let her pull all the clothes out (of course they are all daddy's shorts). Mommy also puts all the clean clothes in the laundry basket and chloe will take them out. She also loves to clean out her own drawer. anything she can pull out makes her happy. She also loves to play patty cake. as soon as you start singing it she starts clapping to the song. Chloe is not walking yet but getting a lot stronger on her little legs. She is now able to stand for a couple seconds without holding onto anything and loves to push anything she can to walk around.. She will be walking pretty soon.. This next month chloe is going to be very busy. Lots of her little friends are all turning 1 so there will be lots of parties and chloe and daddy are coming to london with mommy on her next business trip. Chloe is going international. Lots of pictures to come..

Chloes Funny Faces

So for the past couple months chloe makes these really funny faces. She scrunches her nose and puckers her lips.. its pretty darn cute..

Chloe loves going to the beach and playing on the swings, especially with her daddy.. They go down to the beach every day if its nice out. She pretends that she is flying. its so cute. she also loves playing in the sand after. Its going to be crazy once she starts running on the beach. right now all she wants to do is eat the sand, the leaves, the rocks and the shells..

Pumpkin Picking 2012

We went and picked pumpkins this past weekend. It was so much fun. All Chloe wanted to do was eat the hay and leaves but at least we got some fun pictures. We also wanted to pick apples but since the weather wasn't that good this past spring it ruined a lot of the apple crops so we went to a pumpkin farm that had apples we could at least buy. Now we can make some yummy applesauce for chloe. its her favorite. I am sure daddy will make a yummy apple desert with some of the apples too. Cant believe this time last year chloe was in mommys belly.. seems so long ago..

Columbus Day Weekend in Cape Cod

We had a great weekend up in the cape for Columbus Weekend. The Sokop kids were off from school so it was fun to spend the weekend with the whole family.. We hadn't been up to the cape since 4th of July week so it was a long overdue trip. We ended up having amazing weather so that made the trip even better. We went for walks on the beach, played at the park, watched the pats game and painted pumpkins. We love spending time with everyone and can't wait to see everyone again soon.
