1st day at 8 months old

So chloe is 1 day into her 8th month and wants to start holding a spoon. So mommy gave one to chloe to hold while she fed her. She got the concept right away and did a pretty good job. we just have to watch out because she likes to put the whole thing in her mouth backwards and almost gagged herself. Such a big girl. pretty soon she will be feeding herself all the time...

Chloe's 8 months old

Chloe is now 8 months old.. So much has happened over the last month. Amazing how much she can advance in just one month.. Chloe has her 2 bottom teeth and boy does it hurt when she bits now.. She has officially started crawling and all she wants to do now is stand up.. We have started baby proofing the house. We have gotten rid of the giant coffee table in the house and replaced it with a nice leather ottoman so chloe doesn't crack her head on it and has a lot more room to crawl around.. We have lowered her mattress because she pulls herself up and stands in her crib. Next is putting the gate up at the stairs and covering all the plugs in the house.. She is also saying DADA all the time. She just loves to say his name (not as much as daddy loves hearing it though). We are practicing saying mommy but the more we say that the more she says DADA.. She is still eating great. She has eggs and meat and cheese and even had her first serving of pastina..She still loves her fruit and veggies too. Mommy finally got some fun video of Chloe talking and being alien baby..It was pretty funny to watch so I had to share with everyone..We cant wait to see what the next month brings. At this rate she will be walking by the time she is 9 months old..

Some fun pictures of chloe over the past couple weeks. Cant believe she is almost 8 months old. We have put chloe into some of her dresses since summer is coming to end and she has quite a few to wear.. She also had a quick visit with nini and poppy and they took her to the beach and she got to meet mommy and daddys friend jeff rosner.. She loves meeting new people and having fun..and biting mommy and daddy's noses...

Randee comes for a Visit with Ozzie

Randee came home for a fun visit on her way to upstate new york. We had so much fun. Chloe loved playing with ozzie. It was the first time she really had interaction with a puppy. He was just so good with her. She was constantly looking around to see where he was and always wanting to pet him. Chloe loved spending time with "Auntie" Randee.. They played and we went for walks and just got to spend some quality time together. We miss randee and cant wait for her to come home again for the holidays. Chloe cant wait to go out to San Francisco in the spring to visit Randee and Ozzie at their house..

Chloe goes to Boston

So we took a quick visit to see Chloes cousins. She was so excited. She hasnt been up to their house since we was only a few weeks old. We had so much fun. We watched Grace, Connor, and Brendan play sports outside and got to just spend some time with the family. Chloe got to show off her new teeth and her new crawling skills.. We all went into Boston on Sunday for a little day trip. It was pretty hot so we cooled off in the many fountains they have near the North End... Chloe loves spending time with her cousins and cant wait to be able to run around and play with them..

Chloe Gets her First teeth

So chloe didn't get just one tooth she went ahead and got 2 at the same time. So now both her bottom teeth are in. She has been such a trooper with them. Sometimes if she bits on something hard she cries because they are still pretty sensitive but she is doing great. the top 2 come next.. her first 2 teeth came at 7 1/2 months old.. what a big girl.

Chloe Crawls

So Chloe has started crawling. On August 9th she started moving forward. Its was small moves but she was able to move forward. It was so fun to watch her trying to figure it out and rock back and forth and finally get what she wanted. It has been a week since this video and she is moving so much more now. Daddy has to put the gate up this weekend so she can have free range of the upstairs.

Chloe Can Clap

Chloe has learned how to clap. She watches what we do and then follows. She loves singing, "if your happy and you know it clap your hands"..She just loves to laugh and clap and have fun. She is such a happy happy baby girl....

Chloe's Puzzle

Chloe loves playing on her puzzle floor mat. Its nice and cushiony so she can play safely on it. We are hoping that she will start crawling soon but for now she is just having lots of fun..

Chloe takes a Meeting in the City

Chloe had a meeting in the city at CESD. They are a talent agency and they just loved her. Chloe was having so much fun. She was laughing and clapping and having a blast and showing her amazing personality..They said they will send her pictures out to different clients and we just wait to see if they like her and want her to come in for a job.. Whats not to love with this little superstar..

Chloe & Her Friends

Chloe has had some fun play dates with her friends recently. She finally got to meet her future best friend Jayde. Jayde lives in Los Angeles with mommy and daddys friends Erin and Justin. Chloe had so much fun meeting and playing with Jayde. Jayde just loves babies and wanted to hold Chloe and dance with her. That day we also got to hang out with Sam... His mommy is Lesley and mommy has known her since she was little. We went to pizza last week and Chloe got to see her friends Joshua and Penelope. We didn't take any pictures with P but we got one with Chloe and Joshua. Chloe is lucky to have some many great friends already...

Chloe goes Blueberry Picking

Its the end of July and its blueberry picking season so we all went to get some yummy blueberries. We had a lot of fun even though it was really hot and humid.. Poor little chloe was sweating just as much as we were. She gets all red and flushed but she was such a trooper and didn't cry once. We really like going to the Jones family farm. Thats where we went strawberry picking and where we will go back in the fall to get pumpkins. Daddy made a delicious lemon/blueberry cheesecake, mommy pureed some for chloe and she  had for breakfast for a couple days. We froze some so we can have anytime we want.

Chloes First Hike

We went on a family hike and Chloe had so much fun. We only went for a little while cause it was pretty hot and it took us forever to find the place so it was getting late. But now that we know where it is we will definitely go back. Chloe was great. Daddy carried her in the bjorn and we just walked around and listened to the birds and sang songs. We found the lake and daddy and chloe were about to take a closer look but they noticed some water moccasins sunning themselves. Good thing daddy saw them. After that mommy was ready to go home..
