Chloe is 7 Months Old today

So it July 24th and little Chloe is now 7 months old. I know I keep saying how fast time flies but this is just getting crazy.. Chloe is really starting to get her little personality. She gets super frustrated when she cant reach for something she wants and its really funny to watch. She is always smiling and a very calm natured little girl. Not much rattles her yet. She loves to observe and take in her surroundings. She still always lets us know when she is hungry or tired. Those are pretty much the only times she cries. She is still eating great. Mommy is still making all her food. She is not loving a lot of the green veggies (still likes her peas and green zuchinni) but not loving broccoli. I am going to try to add some cheese sauce to see if she likes that, trick her just like I trick her daddy. She has just started eating chicken. Mommy made a chicken,apple, sweet potato mix and she eats it up. She loves her yogurt in the morning, especially when we add fresh fruit to it. She continues to drink her bottle and sippy cup by herself. Sometimes we help her at night especially when she is super tired. She still sleeps like a rock star. Goes down by 8 and wakes up around 6/6:30am..We still have her in her magic sleep suit as it keeps this very active little girl somewhat still throughout the night. I want her to have the sleep suit forever, but for now I think I will buy the next size up. She is rolling over a lot in her crib to so we had to lower the mattress as we know the next step is holding herself up by the rails. She slept for the first time on her tummy for a nap and it was so cute. She had her leg bent just like her mommy. She is pretty close to starting to crawl too. We think by 8 months it will be official. (if not sooner) She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth but cant actually move forward yet.. We are in for it when she starts to crawl no more just calmly sitting on the floor playing with her. She still loves going to the beach and putting her feet in the sand and we have had a lot of fun with her this summer. Julia has taken her to the library and we are planning a trip up to boston soon and hopefully some swimming at her cousins Isabella and Sals house. She is going to meet her little friend Jayde this coming weekend. She is visiting from LA. We will make sure to get lots of pictures of the future best friends. Its been an amazing 7 months and we love every moment of watching this amazing little girl grow..

Chloe Swings and Slides

We took Chloe to the park at Compo Beach to play on the swings and slide. She had such a good time. She loved being in the swing but it was hard cause she is still so little so doesn't really fit yet. Mommy and Daddy had stay right with her so she wouldn't slip out. We also each took turns going down the slide which was super fun. We don't think she really gets it yet but she just had fun spending time with mommy and daddy....

Chloe is getting such a fun personality. She is always smiling and happy. Wanted to share a few fun pictures of chloe over the past month.. She also got to spend an afternoon with Auntie RaRa and had so much fun. Robbin fed her and played with her and as always Chloe just lights up when she sees Robbin. We cant believe Chloe is almost 7 months old..

Chloe Reading

Chloe went to the Westport Library with Julia for Mother Goose Storytime. She had a great time and loved all the books. Julia said Chloe was just looking around at all the other children and had so much fun.. We have a little reader on our hands. Now she just has to hold the book right side up.. At least she didn't put it in her mouth..

Grandma Bailey's Visit to CT

Grandma Bailey came home for her summer vacation trip and Chloe got to spend some fun time with her.. We went to cousin Rita's house for a family reunion. Chloe got to spend time with her grandma and great grandma and see lots of cousins and family. She had a great time. Grandma also came down to Westport for a few hours on sunday and we all had breakfast and went to the beach.. Grandma gave Chloe her pink elephant that sings the ABC song and she loves it so much. She cant wait for another visit from grandma soon. Hopefully we can see her out in California before Christmas.

Our Cape Summer Vacation

Thanks Nini for a great week at the beach...

We were very fortunate to be able to have a great summer vacation up in Cape Cod. We spent a week up there and chloe got to enjoy her first 4th of july in cape cod.. She just loves the beach. We bought her a little tube and she floated in the tidal pools at the beach. She loved putting her feet in the sand. She took naps and played with her cousins..We took a drive up to provincetown and walked around and had lunch one day.. We didn't get to go see any fireworks this year as chloe was usually asleep before it got dark but I have a feeling she is going to love them in a couple years.. Thanks Nini and Poppy for letting us spend a week with you. Looking forward to coming up again at the end of the summer.
