Memorial Day Weekend 2012-Chloe's 1st Trip to Cape Cod

Chloe made her first trip to cape cod on memorial day weekend 2012. She was amazing as always. We made the drive up thursday night after feeding her and putting her in her car seat at bedtime. We made it to the cape around 11:30pm and she woke up briefly but went right back to sleep in the pack-n-play. She slept great all 4 nights. She had so much fun with all her cousins. We went to the beach and hung around the house and had some really nice bonding time. She got to show off her rolling around skills and how good she can eat.. She has some really great future baby sitters and role models to look up to.. The weather was amazing and chloe got to wear  her new rash guard and show off her fancy sunglasses and hat.. The ride home wasn't a lot of fun as it took mommy and daddy 6 1/2 hours to get back but once again chloe was a trooper in the car and managed to remain calm for the ride home.. We look forward to many more weekends up in the cape this year and years to come.. Chloe loves it and being around her family..

Chloe is 5 Months Old

Chloe is now 5 months old. Time really is flying by.. She loves to laugh and is still putting everything in her mouth. Her hands and feet are ALWAYS moving. Chloe has now mastered rolling over from tummy to back and back to tummy. She conquered her shoulder that was getting in the way and no longer can we just leave her on her playmat.. The pack-in-play is going to become much more useful then just a changing table from now on.. Chloe has also eaten, rice cereal, barley cereal, apples, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes and butternut squash. She loves it all and at each meal we are making less and less of a mess. She is still trying to sit up on her own from the laying down position but its only a matter of time before she is sitting up all by herself. She is also really into faces. She loves to grab and touch and play with faces. When we are feeding her she is always reaching out and feeling our faces. She loves facial hair right now. We think its the fun texture.. The latest is trying to change her diaper. It has become quite a challenge. She just doesn't want to sit still. She has truly become our "wiggle monster".. She is a bundle of energy and mommy and daddy are loving every minute of it..

Chloe's Baptism

May 20th 2012 was Chloe's Baptism. It was a perfect day surrounded by all her family. Her godfather, Uncle Jay didn't make it in time for the church so Poppy Sal stood in for him. Auntie Kim is her godmother and she is so lucky to have such great godparents to watch over her.. The weather was amazing and chloe did a great job. She didn't cry when the water was poured on her and sucked on  her little froggy pacifier... Everyone came back to the house after for some food and to celebrate with chloe.. By the end of the day she was so tired and fell asleep in mommy's arms outside..Thanks to everyone for coming and being a part of chloe's day..

Chloe and Daddy

Chloe and Daddy have so much fun together.. Daddy took chloe for a walk in the city one day after driving mommy to work. It was a sunny day so we tried out her new sunglasses. She has fun exploring the city with daddy.. They look forward to many more adventures in the city and will take some fun pictures of all the things they do...

Mothers Day Weekend

We had a great time for mommy's first mothers day weekend. We went up to nini and poppys for the night. We had cousin logans 1st communion party and got to spend some time with the family.. Aunt Susan took some great pictures of little chloe on saturday. We are so lucky to have some amazing pictures from her..It was a perfect ending to the weekend when we got back to westport and packed a little picnic and headed to the beach. It was a perfect weekend with the perfect family. I love being a mommy and look forward to many more to come..

Chloes Frog Legs

Chloe loves her pacifiers, especially her little froggy.. Today she was eating frogs legs. YUMMY!!!!!

Chloes new toy

So at 4/12 months we got chloe her new turtle bouncer.. All she wants to do is sit up and see whats going on so we got this for her so she can be upright more now..Her feet cant really touch the ground yet but they are getting close..

Chloe & Daddy Practicing Tummy Time

Chloe and daddy are having some fun tummy time. Its getting harder and harder to practice tummy time as she keeps rolling over onto her back when we put her on her tummy..So daddy has her doing it on his chest.. they are just so cute together..

Chloe Discovers Her Feet

So Chloe has discovered her cute little feet. Right around 4 1/2 months Chloe figured out she can grab her little toes and hasn't stopped. She loves to take her socks off when we put them on her.. Luckily the weather has gotten nice and warm so we don't have to put socks on very often anymore.

Chloe Eats Cereal

Chloe had cereal for the first time. She did an amazing job. She was a little hesitant at first but caught on pretty quickly. She is still figuring out how to use that little tongue of hers but she really loves it. She is getting used to it and the next thing we are going to try is some applesauce..I am sure she is going to be a great eater just like her mommy and daddy...Hopefully she will like her veggies a little more than daddy does..

Family Trip to Washington DC

We had our first family trip this month. We went to Washington DC on mommy's birthday weekend. We had such a great time. Chloe was great for the whole trip. She was perfect on the ride down. She slept most of the way there and back..We took lots of pics and for a good amount of them chloe slept. We saw all the sites. She is such a good little travel companion. She slept amazing in the hotel and we had so much fun with her. Daddy and Chloe treated mommy so special for her birthday. We ordered room service for breakfast, got a massage and flowers and had nice dinner. We look forward to many fun family trips together...
