Our House

We have finally made it to the 9th month. A lot will go on in the last 4 weeks. There's thanksgiving, which we celebrated at Mimi and Poppy Sals house for a wonderful dinner and then headed up to MA to be with the Harrington Clan for the weekend. We also cut down our christmas tree the sunday after Thanksgiving and had a great time decorating the house over the following week. We are also planning to make some yummy christmas cookies.  (want to bring some to the nurses at the hospital when we arrive). I am winding down my final days of work, December 9th is my last day. We are going to go see Wicked and the tree at Rockefeller Center all before baby harrington comes to join us. We know she will be here no later than Dec 27th (the day we will get induced) if she decides to not come on her scheduled due date of December 20th. Feeling pretty good and getting use to the lack of sleep thats been happening.  Hopefully the next blog will be pictures of baby our girl. Its going to a fun and busy month.

Baby Shower #2 in Massachusetts -November 19th, 2011

Our second baby shower was held on November 19th, 2011. It was given with love by Nini and Auntie Kim at Nini's house in South Hadley, MA. It was such a wonderful day. Surrounded by friends and family.  The food was so yummy, (Nini and Auntie Kim pulled it off even after the caterer canceled 3 days before the big event). You would have never known because it was such perfect day. We received  some wonderful gifts and are very grateful for all the love and support we have.

Halloween/Pumpkin Time 2011

Its Fall and we are 8 months pregnant. Shaun and I went to get pumpkins and the first place we went to we had some great pics of the 2 of us in a pumpkin patch. Well our camera has died and we lost all our photos. Time to get a new camera before baby harrington comes.. Anyway we had a couple pics of us at another pumpkin farm to post. We were trying to find a pumpkin for me to hold that was about the size of my belly. Next year we will have our little bundle of your with us when we pick our first pumpkin as a family..

Baby Shower #1/October 22nd 2011

The first baby harrington shower was held at our house in westport, CT on October 22nd 2011. It was a really nice time. We had lots of help and got lots of great gifts. Baby Harrington has lots of people that love her already.. Unfortunately I ended up not getting any pictures of the me or the baby. Will make up for it at the shower that Nini and Auntie Kim have for us in Massachusetts on November 19th. We are 2 lucky ladies..

Chloe's Room

Baby Girls Room is coming along great. Daddy and I painted her name over her crib and Nini made her amazing curtains. We just love this room. When we moved into the house the room was pink so we decided to embrace the pink and daddy wanted to make the room chocolate and pink and I liked the idea of some polka dots...

Months 4-8

Wanted to post the picture transformation from months 4-9. My total weight gain in the middle of the 9th month is about 31lbs. We have less than 2 weeks to go so hopefully won't have much more weight to add on. Its been a great pregnancy but we are looking forward to meeting our little girl.

Its a Girl

July 22nd 2011. Shaun and I went for our Amnio and 2nd Trimester screening. It was an exciting but scary  day for us. The amnio went ok, a little painful but worth it. I had to go home to rest and shaun took great care of me. The next day Grandma (nini) and Grandpa (poppy) Harrington came down to westport for a visit. We had a great time hanging out at the beach and just relaxing. Saturday night Grandpa (poppy sal) and Mimmi (Tracey) also came down for a visit and we all went for a wonderful dinner. Baby Harrington is very lucky to have such amazing grandparents who are going to love her very much..
